We invite your company to be a part of the celebration of the Blues in honoring an East Texas native son - Aaron Thebeaux "T-Bone" Walker. Known as Daddy of the Blues, T-Bone Walker was born on May 28, 1910 in Linden, Texas and is honored in the National Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Blues Foundation Hall of Fame.

The festival is sanctioned by the Estate of T-Bone Walker. Show dates are June 20 & 22, 2008; location is the Music City Texas Theater in Linden, Texas. Linden's Music City Texas Theater and the Linden Economic Development Corporation developed the T-Bone Walker Blues Fest to honor this native son who became an icon in the world of music.

This third annual T-Bone Walker Blues Fest is a three-day celebration of the Blues that will bring music lovers together in this birthplace of musical giants. Proceeds generated by the festival will be shared this year with the capital building fund for the Fairview Community Center and the Music City Texas Theater. These IRS-designated non-profit corporations are devoted to improving the quality of life of the Linden community and enhancing the arts in Cass County and East Texas.

Your involvement as a sponsor is very much appreciated and needed to make this event a huge success. The target audience for Music City Texas Theater productions is regional - to include the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and the communities east to Shreveport, Texarkana and Little Rock, making this event an effective venue for your marketing.
